I recently received news that made me pause and reflect. I lost a friend to a sudden death which shook me to my core. It also reminded me of something beautiful – the precious gift of each moment we’re given. It became a powerful reminder to embrace every breath, every smile, and every connection we share. Just as a mighty oak tree doesn’t count its leaves but continues to grow and provide shelter, we too must focus on supporting and nurturing those around us.

Life flows like a river – sometimes calm, sometimes rushing, but always moving forward. And like that river, I chose to keep flowing, feeling the fresh air, and remembering that every day is a gift waiting to be unwrapped. Like the setting sun that paints the sky in magnificent colours before nightfall, our challenges can illuminate what truly matters in life.

Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, sometimes life’s greatest transformations come through our biggest challenges. This journey has taught me to appreciate the symphony of life – every note, every pause, every crescendo. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain. Each moment we have is a precious jewel, unique and irreplaceable. We need to strive to live our best life.

We need to embrace each day with open arms. Love fiercely. Laugh often. Live fully. The universe has a magnificent way of showing us what truly matters, and I’m grateful for every single day of this beautiful journey we call life!

The hummingbirds have returned. They say the hummingbird came from the breath between worlds — too fast to be caught, too gentle to be feared. They appear where pain settles quietly, where the air holds memory. Their wings do not fight the wind — they weave through it, stitching together what was torn by time. Their feathers shimmer with stories, their flight is their grace. They never stay long, just long enough to remind us that love never leaves. It just changes shape.
